We were at our favorite store (Walmart) yesterday when over the loud-speaker we heard that Santa was in the store and taking pictures with kids. Of course, we had to get a picture of Braxton with him. We have never had a picture taken with Santa before.
Braxton was real excited when we asked him if he wanted to see Santa. But, as soon as he saw him, he got nervous and didn't want to get anywhere near him. Santa was nice and said, "You don't have to sit on my lap. Will you just stand by me?" So of course, he didn't really want to - but I kind of pushed him by Santa. (If you look closely you'll see my hand making sure he'd stay.) He almost started crying but then the picture taker said say cheese, so Braxton obeyed.
I don't know what it is about making your kids take a picture with Santa when they don't really want to. Oh well, we now have the memory, right?
